Over the last three decades the advanced capitalist countries have tried to overcome the recurrent crisis of overproduction and to keep their economies and profits growing through the neoliberal offensive of exploiting cheap labor, seizing raw materials and dominating markets across the globe. Since the 1990s, they have resorted more and more to financial devices: speculative profits and debt-driven consumption and production.

Study the root causes and implications of the global capitalist crisis on our families, communities, farms, factories, workplaces and schools. Learn the people’s most pressing demands and actions to confront the crisis.
Attend and invite others to study sessions, seminars, workshops on the workings of capitalism and developments in the imperialist-dominated international system.
Share information, campaign materials and resources pertaining to imperialist globalization, fascism, war and repression.
Encourage people to organize themselves to uphold, defend and promote the rights and interests of the exploited classes and sectors of society. Strengthen and vitalize existing organizations through education and mobilization.
Link up with grassroots organizations, unions and other formations at various levels on the basis of common interests in order to build political unity and accumulate strength for the mass movement for change.
Join and/or organize mass mobilizations and other forms of action expressing protest, demanding reforms and fighting for social change. Join or initiate parallel or coordinated actions or campaigns.
Read, sign and disseminate RESIST! statements and position papers; participate in RESIST! sponsored activities; and invite the RESIST! network participants to other initiatives and mass actions against imperialist globalization, fascism, war and repression.
